Take Over TXPQ
Via peter : 05 Sep 08 :
TXPQ (PR6) is offered free to a good home. There is plenty of room for growth and a large potential audience, so this is a good opportunity for an individual or team with vision. I am limited in what I can achieve, I don’t have a successful background and TXPQ will not go far with me at the helm. Therefore I feel it needs fresh leadership to completely take it over. The only condition is that the existing articles (except for ones similar to this one) remain available. You will be free to redirect, restyle and revitalize TXPQ in any way you like, no strings attached.
TXPQ was meant to be a community project for and by the Textpattern community. There has been some input from the community and plenty of willing answers to my interview questions from Textpattern users, designers and developers. But due mainly to my personality and popularity (or lack of) it has now levelled out and needs a boost to develop it further. Perhaps you are a popular blogger who wants to expand… Perhaps you write great technical articles and need a wider audience… Perhaps you are a young journalist thinking of going freelance… Perhaps you are nothing like that but have skill and imagination… Textpattern has thousands of users and the forthcoming release will bring many more so if you can make TXPQ interesting to the Textpattern audience…
If the potential appeals and you would like to give it a go, please contact me so I can hand over the keys.

15 Sep 08Peter, sorry to hear you’re bowing out. I believe TXP Q performs a useful service and it would be a shame to see it stagnate. A journalistic type with some time, would be an ideal person to take it forward. Unfortunately, I’m not either of these!
Adi
P.S. Thanks for your kind words regarding the adi_notes plugin.
